Text Ad
The best thing about text ads is that they are FREE for private advertisers! (We ask vendors to pay a small, one-time fee of $5.) Your ad will be placed in the category listing that best suits your vehicle and will include

Note that your 25 words of description are in addition to the year, make, model, body style, and your contact info. (Sorry, no HTML codes in descriptions.)

Photo Ad
Photo ads are similar to text ads except that they may have twice as much text description and up to three photos attached. Your ad will be placed in the category listing that best suites your vehicle and will include

The cost for all this exposure is only $10.00!
As with text ads, your ad will run until your vehicle is sold. All we ask is that you confirm that your vehicle is still on the market by renewing your ad annually.

Web Page
A Web page is a very powerful way to market and sell your
vehicle. If you select this option, you first receive an ad
similar to a text ad placed in the category listing that best
suits your vehicle. The difference is that this ad will
be marked with a 
icon to indicate that you have a Web page.
Here is an example.

All an interested visitor has to do is click on the icons to visit the accompanying Web page. Try it.
Your Web page can have as much text description as you wish (within reasonable limits, of course); we recommend no more than about 300 words. Also, you may submit up to six (6) images of your vehicle. (Additional images may be included at $3/image.) (Images should be submitted at the time of placing the ad. Images send later may be subject to a $3/image processing fee.)
If you haven't already done so, click on the
icon before the sample ad above to view an example of a Web page in our standard format.
While HTML codes are not permitted in the regular text and photo ads, you can insert them in the text of your Web page to format your text. Or, if you do not know how to do this, we will do it for you at no additional charge.
Once you have your Web page on #1 Motor Mart, you will receive the URL which will be something like
where "nnnnnnn" is your seven-digit Ad Reference Number. You can refer to this address in ads you may place on other sites, eliminating the need for other photo ads.

Featured Car
If you would like a little more exposure, you may wish to have your car featured in a more prominent position on the #1 Motor Mart Web site. There are four options for doing this from which to select.
Here is a brief description of each option.
This will feature a roughly half page wide photo of your car at the very top of the #1 Motor Mart home page with the caption "Car of the Month" and brief description (such as 1937 Oldsmobile Convertible) beneath. (See the #1 Motor Mart home page for an example.) The image and caption will be linked to your ad or Web page. There will never be more than one "Car of the Month" at any one time. The cost is $25 per month, and you select the number of months you would like to be featured.
This option will place a small photo of your car along with a very brief description (such as 1957 Buick Roadmaster) on the #1 Motor Mart homepage. (Click here to view the currently featured cars.) Your featured listing will be linked to your ad or Web page. There may be up to six different vehicles featured in this manner. The cost is $15 per month for the number of months you select.
This will feature a small photo of your car along with a brief description (such as 1957 Buick Roadmaster) near the top of any page of the #1 Motor Mart Web site you may select with the following exceptions:
Your featured listing will be linked to your ad or Web page and be displayed similar to the featured cars on the home page. (Click here to view.) Up to three vehicles may be featured in this manner on any one page. The cost for this option is $5 per month for as long as your wish to be featured.
This is similar to Option #3 above (Featured Car - Any Other Page) with two very important exceptions:
Your display is linked to your ad or Web page. This is quite a lot, and you may purchase the "Exclusive Featured Car Rights" to any page for $15 per month with the applicable exceptions noted in #3 above.

The icon can appear only in Option #4, the Exclusive Listing.
Note that Options #1 & #4 permit only one vehicle in a given position at any one time. Also, with Options #2 & #3, limits may be set to the number of cars that can be featured on a page simultaneously (because of crowding or page size). Requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis.
In order to select a featured car option, you will normally need to have an ad (usually a photo ad or Web page) on #1 Motor Mart to which to link your featured listing. One exception to this is if you already have a Web site describing your car, you may link your featured car to this site.
Want Ad
Although the ad is displayed in a separate section and may have a somewhat different format, a want ad on #1 Motor Mart is considered to be a text ad.

Referral Listing
If you prefer not to have your personal contact information displayed in your ad, you may elect to make use of our Referral Listing service. In this case, your ad will display only an e-mail address of the form
where "adrefnum" is your seven-digit Ad Reference Number. If your Ad Reference Number is 00K2803, then your e-mail address will appear as
in your ad. Any inquiries about your ad will then be automatically forwarded to whatever e-mail address you provide to us.
Here is a sample text ad using a referral e-mail:

A Referral Listing is available on any classified ad or Web page for a one time fee of only $10. The referral e-mail address can be removed and replaced with your own personal contact information at any time without charge, but if you elect to return to a Referral Listing, there will another $10 fee.
(NOTE: Any anonymity provided by a Referral Listing extends only to the initial e-mail contact through the #1 Motor Mart e-mail forwarding.)
