We may not keep "Rosebud" forever, someday trading it for another "Fun
Machine," but neither of us can imagine not having a classic car to drive and
enjoy.
Which brings us to this site. We hope #1 Motor Mart will be a truly
fun, interesting, user-friendly site that will serve several basic functions
by providing a
- convenient, efficient medium for buying and selling vehicles,
- connection to vendors with useful and unique services,
- resource for helpful and interesting information, and
- source of amusement and relaxation.
No, this is not and never will be the largest or most complete auto site on
the Web. That was not our aim in creating it. Quite the opposite, the
overall scope will by design be limited to permit us to give personal
attention to every ad, comment, or other aspect of the site.
While our initial thoughts in designing #1 Motor Mart was to meet the
needs of the classic car novice, we believe that there is much here for the
more experienced collector, too. Likewise, we have included for sale
categories for new cars and trucks with no year limits on other sections.
